Installation

Step 1 (Installation With Out Relay)
To begin the installation of your HID kit, take any and all steps necessary to change your original headlight. In place of the original bulb, place your new HID bulb. BE CAREFUL AS NOT TO TOUCH ANY GLASSWARE ON THE BULB ITSELF.
Step 2
Next connect the larger male wire with the yellow rubber around the side into the other side; female end of the ballast. The clip of the plug should fit on the outside of the port.
Step 3
The male and female ends coming from the ballast connect to the opposite ends coming from the bulb. There is only one way possible to connect these two plugs. It is important to make sure the connections are positive – positive and negative – negative. The kit will not work if this is done incorrectly
Step 4
Last is the most important part. Your factory harness needs to be connected to the light bulb. For the 9000 series you will have an actual plug that fits right into the factory harness. On the H-Series you have a positive and a negative spade hanging off the bulb. Those wires simply plug into the factory harness Positive – Positive and Negative – Negative. For any bulb the thing to make sure of is that the wires inside the plug are lined up corectly with the wires when you plug it into the factory harness. Positive to positive - negative to negative - ground to ground.
Step 1 (Installation With Relay)
First Step to take will be to open up your relay. You will Notice that there are two female plugs with a yellow rubber around them (one for each side). You will also notice that on one side there is a positive and a negative wire (these need to be wired to your battery) And on the other side you have simply a negative wire (this needs to be grounded).
Step 2
Take the female plug with the yellow rubber around it and plug it into the ballast. Next take the male and female plugs coming out of the ballast and plug them into the male and female plugs coming from the Xenon bulb. (Reference step 3 picture above). Once you have completed this step then you need to ground the black wire. Last, You will plug the black male plug coming out of the Xenon Bulb into your factory harness. ( this picture shows a 9006 plug... This plug changes in size and color depending on the application. Some Applications do not have actual plugs rather they have wires with male pins at the end. If that is the case then simply insert those pins into their appropriate location into your factory harness. positive to positive and ground to ground and high beam to high beam when applicable)Once you have completed this step you will have plug that comes out of the Xenon bulb with a female imput and yellow rubber around it which will remain UNUSED and UNPLUGED.
Step 3
Similar to the previous step you will repeat the same steps. The difference on this size of the Relay is that now you have a ground and a positive wire that you will need to connect to your battery. Next you will Take the female plug from the relay with the yellow rubber and plug that into the ballast. Once you have done that then you will need to plug the male and female plugs coming out of the ballast to the the male and female plugs coming out of the Xenon Bulbs. On this size of the Relay you will notice that there is an aditional black male plug coming from the relay. This needs to be pluged into the female plug with the yellow rubber coming from the Xenon Bulb. The remaining plug or wires comiing from your Xenon bulb needs to be pluged into your factory harness. If it is a plug make sure that the pins inside are lined up with the factory pins. If It is a wire than make sure you are conencting the positive to the positive and the ground to the gound and High beam to High Beam when applicable.
Step 1 Trouble Shooting (Reversing the Polarity)
If after you have installed your HID Kit and nothing is happening then you will need to Reverse the Poalrity. This means you will need to remove the plug that you plugged into the ballast and plug it in the opposite way. In order to accomplish this you will need to bend back the plastic clips back so that it will fit in.
Step 2 Trouble Shooting (Positive Connection)
If you wired everything correctly and now the bulb does not want to turn on you need to make sure that the pins inside the Xenon bulb plug thats going to plug into the factory harness are in the correct place. You need to make sure that the positive usually the red wire from the xenon bulb is matching correctly with the positive on your factory harness. Then make sure the negative (black) wire is matched correctly with the negativeon your factory harness. And finally the thinner brown wire (High beam) Is matchaing correctly with the high beam on you factory plug. If you HID kit does not have a plug but just wires with pins... You will still need to make sure that when inserting them into your factory harness you are following these steps. Failure to Correct the pins will result in your high beam indicator staying on... Your low beam and high beam malfunctioning and or your bulbs will not turn on.
